Our founder Robert R. Taira created our Original Hawaiian Sweet Round Bread in Hilo, Hawaii during the 1950’s. Known for its unique, fluffy texture and slightly sweet flavor, the Original Hawaiian Sweet Round Bread quickly became a cultural phenomenon in the islands.
